Canon 35mm f1.4 L and 50mm f1.2 L lens

Wow… that’s all I have to say I just tested doing a few shots in ambient lighting, excuse my lego mech’s, but they were my test objects

Out of the 35mm and 50mm, I got to say, I am loving the 35mm a lot, I have to give the 50mm a go during the day when there’s some good light and when it gets warmer as well. The 50mm L, based on its construction, it has a strange focus shift element which is hard to get to grips with. But based on the usage tonight, I can get almost similar effect with the 35mm L by getting in closer. I feel I might have to trade the 50mm L in at some point for the luscious 85mm f1.2 L instead

Well, now I have 2 Canon 5D cameras again, I can start honing in on my shooting style, I think 35mm on primary camera and backup with either the 85mm f1.8 (loving that on a 5D) or the 50mm L; I will give that a shot and report back with some pics.
